Welcome to typewriter art
Typewriter art has been historically practiced for centuries, dating back to the oldest recorded example in 1898. The image of a butterfly was published in a women's magazine, typed on a vintage typewriter. The artwork holds great mystery as very little is known about the artist. The beautifully handled image was produced with such skill and efficiency shows skills of a higher artistic level. And even there, the typewriter, clumsy as it is, has been used as an instrument to produce amazing pieces of art. The prehistoric nature of the typewriter holds a quirky charm when used to type as the keys emboss the paper leaving a slightly different mark each time.
